Debris Removal
We recently reached a major milestone in L.A.’s recovery effort – the completion of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Private Property Debris Removal (PPDR) program for those who opted in – nearly a year ahead of expectations.

Overall, debris removal is 99% complete in Pacific Palisades. Fewer than 30 residential and commercial parcels are at various stages of the debris removal process, including the Palisades Bowl, which received an abatement letter from the L.A. Department of Building and Safety (LADBS) last week.

The City successfully applied for special inclusion from FEMA for the Army Corps to clear more than 80 parcels that would not have originally been included in the Private Property Debris Removal program, including:
